Like a lot of Americans I was sad when the Space Shuttle flew it's last mission. I grew up with manned exploration as a thing. I lived in Florida for a good number of my formative years. Cape Canaveral was across the state from me. Then they killed the shuttle program. It seemed to me like NASA was on it's last legs. Then Curiosity happened. My brain lit up. Space was in the news again. And it was awesome. And more is coming. Dawn, Orion, and al of it. This is my ode to NASA and space and my love for all of it.
