After WW1, the Australian government decided they needed to expand farms into the Outback to give the returning soldiers some place. Unfortunately for them, the emus had other ideas for their crops, so the army declared war on the wild, rampaging emus.
And they lost.
The emus destroyed the farms and shrugged off the bullets from the newest machine guns available. We think that we should all be more like the noble emus. Let no one tell you where you should be and how to live. Refuse to be ruled.
